Persian Gulf (June 25, 2005) - An F/A-18C Hornet assigned to the "Argonauts" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Four Seven (VFA-147) launches from one of four steam-powered catapults on the flight deck aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is currently deployed to the Persian Gulf conducting operations in support of multi-national forces in Iraq. Vinson will end its deployment with a homeport shift to Norfolk, Va., and commence a three-year refuel and complex overhaul.
Posters are printed on a heavy weight matte paper and are available in 8.5x11, 11x14 or 16x20.
